VEENA SAHASRABUDDHE
Veena comes from a family of musicians. Her father, late Pundit Shankar Shripad Bodas, was a disciple of Pundit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar. Young Veena started her musical education with Kathak dance. She was initiated into Khayal singing by her father and her brother, late Pundit Kashinath Shankar Bodas. Padmashri Balwantrai Bhatt, late Pundit Vasant Thakar and late Pundit Gajananbua Joshi have also contributed to her education. The style she has created for herself retains the fundamental values of Gwalior Gharana while borrowing somewhat from Kirana and Jaipur gharanas. The vidwans laud the authenticity of her music while most listeners are moved by its directness and intensity. Apart from Khayal, she is sought after for her rich repertoire of bhajans. She has sung at all the prestigious venues and occasions including Tansen Samaroh in Gwalior and Sawai Gandharva in Pune. At the Vokalfestival in Stockholm and at the Voices of the World festival in Copenhagen she represented Indian Classical Voice. She has recordings under many leading labels. She has been awarded the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for the year 1993.
Besides being a popular performer, she is also a composer and a teacher. Her compositions adorn many of her recordings. She has taught voice at institutions as well as privately. For two years between 2002 and 2004, she was Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Several of her students have received private, national or international scholarships to study with her.

JAYANTI SAHASRABUDDHE
Jayanti Sahasrabuddhe trained in the ancient Indian tradition of the "Gurukul" method of education, is one of the leading disciples of renowned vocalist Smt Veena Sahasrabuddhe. Since 1993, she has given several solo concerts in the US and India. She has also performed with Veenaji is more than 150 concerts in major music concerts across India, North America & Europe.
She began her musical training with the harmonium under Shri Purushottam Walawalkar. Subsequently she started her vocal training with Smt Tulika Ghosh, daughter of Pt Nikhil Ghosh. She has won many awards and was awarded the National Scholarship by the Goverment of India and Ganavardhan, Pune. She also has a masters in Music and Sociology/Anthropology for which she ranked first in Bombay University.

ANAND KARVE
Anand has musical roots in his family and grew up in a rich musical environment in Mumbai, India. He was initiated into classical music by late Shri Narayanrao Deulkar. Anand had the fortune of receiving guidance from renowned harmonium player, late Shri Vishwanath Pendharkar. His teaching shaped Anand's harmonium skills and prepared him to pursue this art-form further. Anand now lives in San Francisco Bay area and continues to receive guidance from Shri Vivek Datar.
He enjoys opportunities to listen to and accompany leading vocalists. Anand is an Electrical Engineer by training and Enterprise Business Systems Architect by profession.

ABHIMAN KAUSHAL
Abhiman Kaushal is an outstanding tabla artist who is much sought after for his sensitive accompaniment and intense solo playing. He represents the Farukkabad and Lucknow styles of tabla. Having been initiated into the art by his father R. B. Kaushal, who was a disciple of the legendary Ustad Amir Hussain Khan, Abhiman later continued his training under the famous Ustad Sheikh Dawood of Hyderabad, India, and the Ustad’s senior most disciple, Pandit B. Nandkumar. Abhiman has accompanied most of the leading musicians, singers and dancers of North Indian classical music. He has toured around the world performing in prestigious venues. He has numerous recordings and world music collaborations. He has recorded a soundtrack for National Geographc’sMan Eaters of North India, for Zoolander movie and has performed for MTV’s Aerosmith icon show in front of a live audience. Recently he was the solo featured musician for the acclaimed electronic dance drama Ramayana 2k3 which won rave reviews in Los Angeles and New York City.
Abhiman is currently on faculty at UCLA and UCR as Director of the North Indian Classical Music ensembles.
